Peter Cullum wins 'UK Entrepreneur of the Year 2005' Award
Having previously won London 'Entrepreneur of the Year' at the
capital's awards in July, Peter Cullum, Executive Chairman of
Towergate Partnership, won the overall title of 'UK Entrepreneur of
the Year' at the national finals in London.
To win the award, Peter had to fend off challenges from 45 other
entrepreneurs who represent the very best of the UK’s business
leaders, including the cream of the manufacturing and
telecommunications industries.
Peter said: "This reward finally recognises that insurance in
the 21st century is dynamic, challenging and immensely
exciting.
"For me personally this is a tremendous accolade and reflects
all the work done over the years by a superb team of staff who have
all played their part in the Towergate journey. In a sense, I
accepted this award on behalf of all of them."
After the London finals, Peter was subsequently interviewed on
BBC's "Working Lunch" programme.
