Peter Cullum voted 'deal maker of the year'
Peter Cullum was awarded the accolade of 'Deal Maker of the
Year' at the annual M&A Magazine Awards at the Intercontinental
Hotel in Park Lane last week in front of 500 senior investment and
equity fund management guests.
The judges were looking for proven "serial deal making ability",
ability to spot targets, negotiation skills and understanding of
pre and post deal issues. Peter was the only finalist from the
Financial Services sector.
During 2006, Towergate made 14 acquisitions ranging from small
and medium sized businesses through to their biggest deals to
date.
Peter Cullum acknowledged the hard work of his colleagues when
commenting: "Towergate is team sport and that is particularly the
case when acquiring businesses. Each causes a great deal of
