Towergate Risk Solutions Manchester opens new office

Towergate Risk Solutions (TRS) Manchester has announced it is opening a new purpose built office in Heaton Mersey. The move will see its four existing businesses brought together under one roof to create one of the largest insurance brokers in the region.

The enlarged team of 30 will service and grow the company’s book of more than 5,000 clients.These include local property owners and businesses ranging from motor trade, haulage, manufacturing and retail.

The new TRS Manchester operation will also build on its general insurance offering by also assisting customers with their financial services, trade credit, professional indemnity and insurance healthcare requirements.

TRS Manchester’s expansion has already created six new roles for the local community and it is expected to bring further jobs, charity initiatives and commercial spend to the area. The company is also keen to be involved in local networking events.

Managing Director of TRS Manchester, Michael Shelley said, "I am very much looking forward to bringing together four well-respected and long-established businesses. We will take ideas and good practices from each to create a first-class broking operation for the north-west, which will be able to provide for all of our clients’ insurance needs. We will combine the best of a local high street broker with the strength and range of products of the Towergate organisation".
