Towergate Partnership has won the award for
“Best Management Team of the Year” by the Sunday Times Fast Track
for 2007.
The Fast Track 100 ranks Britain's top private
companies with the fastest growing sales over the last three
years. During this time the management team at Towergate has
been responsible for a significant growth in sales culminating in a
£166 million profit in 2007.
The award was judged on information obtained
through telephone interviews with all companies featured in the
Sunday Times Fast Track League, as well as in-depth case study
visits.
Towergate Partnership has also been named as
“2008 UK Private Company of the Year” by readers of ACQ Finance
Magazine. This is the second year in succession that Towergate has
won this award.
ACQ Finance Magazine boasts over 24,000
readers from the world of corporate finance and private
equity. It is also read by many executive figures from
leading acquisitive companies who rely on the magazine as a key
source of market information.
Readers were invited to vote based on their
overall perception of the editorial coverage made on private
companies over the past year. During this time Towergate has
completed over 16 acquisitions and reported record profits.
In 2007 Towergate completed the strategic acquisitions of Open
International and Broker Network, which added significantly to the
scale of the Towergate ‘family’ and also represented key strategic
planks in shaping its future.
